Разум является инструментом нашего высшего «Я», которое в нём, как в зеркале, наблюдает за происходящим; является осознающим этот инструмент. Сам осознающий неизменен, но изменяется разум, так как он сформирован из тончайшей энергии, которая пребывает в постоянном видоизменении. Часто можно услышать такое выражение: «состояние сознания», однако, с позиции йоги правильно говорить: «состояние разума», так как сознание неизменно, оно только наблюдает за изменяющимся разумом.
